Eric Robnett

- Born in St. Louis, MO.
- Started loving music at an early age.
- By 10 years of age, studied piano for two years.
- Took up drum set as a teen.

Went to college and studied Afro/Brazillian drumming under the guidance of Chuck Smart in addition to getting a degree in Business Administration.   While in college, I was able to get credit and work experience working at The Creative Music Foundation in upstate New York.   Here, I was able to live and learn from world reknown percussionist Nana Vasconcelos, Trilok Gurtu, Amada Jar, Ayib Dieng, Collin Wallcot and Jack Dejbnette.

After college, my experience is still continuing to be a "work in progress".

- 15 years teaching world music in the primary and secondary school districts.
- Conducting conflict/resoltion workshops.
- Team building ice-breakers.
